Nursery

We have the nursery decorated and ready to go. The curtains were made by Kim's mom and our niece, Karlee. We can't wait to have a little one to make the room complete.

A good friend, Angie, did the cross stitch for us and then her and others did the puzzle. I love them and am glad we have finally done the nursery so they can be hung.                                                                       

Update

We updated our home study for the 3rd time in November. We know that God has a plan and that our child is out there but the waiting is NOT easy. Everyone that I talk to who has adopted say the wait is worth it but honestly I am tried of waiting. I am so ready for Johnny and I to be parents and share our love for God, each other and family with a child. There are so many things that cross my mind and I think I can't wait to be able to do that with our child. We are blessed to have nieces/nephews that we get to do things with but also want to have those memories with our child or children.
We have set up the nursery and will have to get pictures taken and post. It is so cute!! My mom and niece, Karlee made the curtains and did a really good job. Karlee did most of the work and this was her first project. Because they made them makes them extra special to us.
We are trying to spread the word more that we are trying to adopt and besides the passalong cards and fliers we have emailed our church family a letter and also have a facebook page www.facebook.com/HelpJohnnyandKimAdopt.
I can't wait till the day I can post that we are parents!!!
